Our service prices are published on the website and confirmed before work begins. There are no hidden additions or post-hoc charges. For restoration and refinishing, we agree the full scope and cost in writing. The price you're quoted at assessment is the price you pay at collection.

What Sets Us Apart
Distinctive features of Sawan Studio
Hand-fabricated replacement parts
When original parts are no longer available for an older movement, we fabricate replacements by hand in the workshop. This capability is uncommon and is what makes heritage restoration possible for watches others would turn away.
Honest about what a watch needs — and what it doesn't
We sometimes tell people their watch doesn't need as much work as they thought. A watch that runs adequately might not need a full service yet. This kind of advice reflects what we believe, not what earns more work.
Refinishing only as agreed
Unlike many workshops that apply a standard finish to everything, we discuss the result with the owner beforehand. We're often asked to preserve signs of age rather than remove them, and we're comfortable doing that.
Written restoration plans as standard
For heritage restoration and significant refinishing work, a written plan and cost summary is provided before any work begins. This document belongs to the client and forms the basis of the work.
